About The Uganda Cycle Challenge

Uganda is an amazing country with an astonishing variety of habitat and wildlife which will both captivate and mesmerise you. Uganda is known as the Pearl of Africa due to its stunning green valleys, vast lakes and tall mountains. Often forgotten due to its high profile neighbours Kenya and Tanzania, Uganda is unaffected by mass tourism and a fantastic location for cycling.  Our circular route takes place between two of Uganda’s great lakes, Victoria and Kyoga in the south east of this beautiful country. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet locals and learn about the Ugandan way of life. As well as four amazing days on the bikes we finish with a “high octane” day of class V white water rafting on the White Nile, one of the best places for rafting in the World.  Uganda is an incredibly lush country with an abundance of fresh fruit including avocado, mango, banana, watermelon, passion fruit and jack fruit a real highlight! However the lasting memory most people have of Uganda is her people. Ugandans are warm and friendly, and we will be greeted with a smile and handshake throughout our journey.
