About The Mozambique Biking Expedition

Mozambique is difficult to reach but the rewards are well worth it. During our Mozambique biking challenge you will experience some of the friendliest people in the world and scenery that is second to none.

This expedition takes us to one of the most remote and untouched regions of the country. On this ten day itinerary we will cover 390km in six days of mountain biking. The route has some tough climbs as well as some relaxed flat sections.

The route is very diverse as we pass granite domes, lush forests, remote villages and experience rural Mozambique untouched by mass tourism. The route is littered with spectacular waterfalls and swimming pools which offer great respite from the African sun.

Each night after seeking approval from local chiefs we will set up camp and enjoy a fire and barbecue 'Mozambique style'.

Elephant tracking in the Moribane forest is a real highlight and a great way to finish the expedition. This is an eco-friendly expedition. Local staff, supplies, services and accommodation are used wherever possible.

The Mozambique biking expedition promises to be a unique and unforgettable experience for all involved.
